Dragging Main Street in Aberdeen was a great pastime on the
weekend nights, looking to see who was hanging out on the north end at Scotty’s,
built in 1963, or the south end at Terry’s.
The scene at Scotty’s was similar to that from Mel’s in the movie “American
Graffiti”. We also had the Auto-Dine
drive-in, built in 1964, with Dan Cavanaugh, Bob Couser and Tim Sexton making
up part of its’ inaugural staff. Share
some great stories and remembrances of hanging out at the drive-ins.
